The Great Lakes Invitational Art Fair (GLIAF) does not participate in open calls or solicit portfolios. Artists are invited individually, selected on the quality of their work, commitment to a personal vision, and how sympathetic the work is with that of the other invited artists.

GLIAF hopes that the fair fosters dialogue between artists and fair visitors, and that all involved will leave the experience richer in empathy and cultural understanding.
